Study Areas 

Analysis and guidance for the project is broken into six Geographic Focus Area (GFA) planning teams. GFA planning teams are comprised of engineering, planning, law enforcement, and emergency services representatives from local counties, cities, and towns, as well as the Arizona Department of Transportation.

 

GFA planning teams include representation from each of the 4-Es of traffic safety: engineering, enforcement, emergency services, and education.  GFA planning teams will meet three times during the Southeast Arizona Transportation Safety Plan development. These dates will be announced as the project progresses.
